International Student Organization
About
The International Student Organization is a student group at Sam Houston State University that represents approximately 350 international students from over 100 different countries.
ISO aims to increase the awareness of diversity on campus, as well as to provide help to the international students in getting adapted to the USA.
ISO hosts activities and events that would serve as a platform for international students to showcase their cultures and as a social medium for interactions between international and domestic students. Examples of events include International Week, social activities, different cultural expositions, and more.
ISO is open to all international students and domestic students who are interested in sharing and learning different cultures and promoting diversity on campus. ISO may also in the future serve as the umbrella organization for various cultural clubs that represent other cultures from around the world.
